PHYS 103L Conceptual Physics and Applications I Laboratory (1)

This course covers hands-on activities that complement the corresponding lecture and provides a conceptual survey of physics’ central laws, theories, and concepts with their applications to modern technology and the scientific process. Topics may include the laws of motion and Newtonian mechanics and their role in the Scientific Revolution, the physics of energy and heat and its role in the Industrial Revolution, and applying these principles to modern technology.
Corequisite(s): PHYS 103  
Course Frequency: Fall
Note: The target audience of the PHYS 103/104 sequence is non-science majors. PHYS 103/104 does not prepare students for the MCAT or a similar test.
