Forensic Accounting, Graduate Certificate Admission Requirements

Program Description

The Accountancy Graduate Certificate in Forensic Accounting includes 12 credit hours of coursework focused on students gaining knowledge and expertise in specific areas of practice relating to forensic accounting and (2) gaining knowledge and understanding of current issues facing the auditing profession with an emphasis on the challenges facing the audit practitioner who specializes in forensic accounting.

Institutional Admissions Requirements


  • A completed application form with a nonrefundable application fee of $60.
  • Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate coursework. An earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • International applicants should refer to the International Students area within the “Admissions Information” section of the catalog for information on providing appropriate documentation with the application.

Program Admissions Requirements


  • A baccalaureate degree in accounting or a baccalaureate degree with sufficient coursework in accounting principles, intermediate accounting, cost accounting, taxation, accounting information systems, and auditing with a 3.000 GPA overall and in accounting coursework.
